For over a decade I’ve been photographing with Margaret Burns Vap and Big Sky Yoga Retreats. Alongside of the various advertising photo shoots, images of participants, website content and yoga retreats, we co-created Cowgirl Yogatography. It’s a wonderful mix of yoga, photography and equine appreciation. A full 3 days of yoga practice, photography instruction, inspiration, and our love of horses… our finest photography subjects!
In 2021 the retreat was hosted at the Vap Ranch on the outskirts of Bozeman. It was an intimate retreat and creative photo workshop led by Margaret Vap, myself and my daughter Jennie Lynn.
Words seem a little inadequate to describe this experience. I can only sum it up by saying it’s always the highlight of my year in the realm of creativity and photography. See for yourself. Here are the images created by the ladies that took the leap and joined us for Cowgirl Yogatography 2021.
