I am always amazed to see the light in the faces of these courageous women that have fought cancer and will always be warriors in that battle. Beautiful, strong, insightful human beings that have faced the fragile nature of mortality. This is a yoga retreat is a gift that is annually created by Big Sky Yoga Retreats, sponsored by many kind souls, which I have the honor of photographing every year and share a little love!
The weather was acting like spring, that is … fickle, wet and chilly when I arrived to make photos with these women. So, I set up shop in the teepee on the property of the Double T River Ranch. It was the most wonderful studio for making soulful portraits. They arrived in small groups under cover of slickers and umbrellas. They donned their hats from Head West Bozeman, floral wreaths from Wild Blume and boots and outfits from Ariat. We had the best time together!
I returned on Sunday morning for some time in the sun to capture them all in their gift leggings from K Deer with the handsome steed Java. Enjoy the view!
